A Letter from Our Founder: Why the Future of AI Belongs to Young Voices

Gen AI Voices began with a question from my daughter — one that stopped me mid-conversation. “If AI can learn to think and sound like us, will people still listen to us when we discover something cool?”

That moment made me thing that while technology keeps advancing, it can’t replace the human spark - our curiosity, empathy, and drive to understand the world around us.

Gen AI Voices was created to nurture those qualities. It’s a place where young people can study how artificial intelligence is changing our lives, and learn how to research, question, and lead with integrity and imagination.

Through our fellowships and mentorship programs, students investigate real-world issues in AI and society - from bias and sustainability to creativity, health, and the environment. They learn how to design research questions, analyze data, and communicate insights that matter.

Their discoveries are shared in The Gen AI Voices Review and our Annual Digital Showcase, transforming student research into published work that informs and inspires. Each publication represents not just a milestone, but a contribution to the public conversation about the kind of future we want AI to build.

Some projects challenge assumptions. Others uncover unexpected connections between humanity and technology. Together, they remind us that the next generation isn’t waiting to be included in the AI dialogue - they’re already leading it.

This is just the beginning of our shared journey, one where research becomes voice, mentorship becomes leadership, and discovery becomes impact.

Welcome!
